Celebrando Raices - Celebrating Our Roots
On Sunday, September 8th, join Xfinity as we celebrate Chicago's Mexican Independence Day Parade for its 50th year. This parade helps promote our local businesses and brings attention to the driving force behind the continued growth and success of the Latino business community and the consumer market.
Volunteer duties include: walking, smiling, waving, handing out giveaways, carrying banners, and passing out water. This is a family-friendly event, so each Comcast employee may register up to (6) people to participate. Children under 4 years old do not need to register. Priority will be given to children and seniors to ride the float. All volunteers will receive a T-shirt.
Xfinity will have a DJ on their float, plus a group of traditional Mexican dancers, a.k.a. Baile Folklorico.
